Hi All,
I'm using Taverna server 2.4.1 on with JDK 7, Ubuntu and Tomcat 6.0.37.
My client code and the workflow engine are fine.
I have noticed that when running Taverna Server, Tomcat does not seem to
shutdown cleanly.
When stopping the Tomcat server, I use the 'shutdown.sh' found within the
Tomcat bin directory.
I know that it can take a while for Tomcat to shut down, but on my
installation, the main Java process does not exit and can remains in memory.
This seems to happen every time that I run the server.
I have to end the Java VM a kill -9 signal to stop the process.
Any advice on shutting down Taverna, would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Gareth
