We are interested in this area and a teacher of ours give us an existing
non completed Android application, me and a colleague of mine should
implement the missing functionalities.

Yes we tried to setup our Taverna Serva on Tomcat but we faced lot of
issues like:
not able to run workflows or response code 403 when we are trying to
request some of the exposed APIs.
And now we are trying to find an easy way: healthy server (non secured or
just to registering user).
We don't want to execute complex workflows, our aim is just to see that the
Android application consuming properly the Taverna Server API.
