Well, all suggested ways are only workarounds for a PROBLEM.
A problem that - in my humble opinion - belongs to a bunch of much more
important things... Much more important than stupid localizable Shift/Ctrl's in
the menus!
Anyway, I suggest that there was simply a generic "parked" flag for the
messages in the outbox.
If a message is "Saved as Draft" - it would get BOTH of those flags set, or
only the "draft" flag, depending on the user's choice. And once in the outbox,
the user would be able to safely clear the "parked" flag AND delete the message
with the "draft" flag.
