I had to put on the extra command line outside of the quotes included in the shortcut line and it worked fine. The first time I started up TB, the reading was around 3200 milliseconds. If I shut it down and restarted, the readings remained at 2300-2400, telling me that there was some residual startup data in memory (which is fine). FYI, I have windows 7 (as you can see in my signature - it is the Home Premium version, 32-bit). I have an AMD Athlon 64 3400+ CPU, with 2 GB of RAM. I'd say startups of 2-3 seconds seem pretty fast. Thanks for the help with the shortcut, Maxim. -- Take Care (meaning - rest with your friends and/or family this Sunday!), Bob -- "Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me."
