Hello all, I like the advanced hints and there a few things I would like to address:
1. On my machine the value in Preferences / Hints / Wait before hide hint seems not to be stored correctly. When I close and reopen The Bat, this value is set back to 35. Can anyone confirm? 2. Still at Preferences / Hints / ...: The behavior when typing values into some of the fields instead of using up and down arrows seems strange. I found that there are limitations to "Wait before show hint" and "Wait before hide hint" of 1-100 and in "Hide Distance" of 50-400 but it is not possible to enter a value of 243 for example directly into the Hide Distance field. Same problems for "Maximum hint width" and "Maximum hint height" (boundaries 300-1000).Typing values directly into the first of the two fields works as expected. 3. I like the possibility to edit the hints (and the information tab contents) via HTML files in the hints-Folder. In theses files you are using special catchwords as targets to certain program functions (Compress Folder, Open Properties ...). It would be nice to have a full list with the names of the targets to be able to extend the hints (and the information tabs) where this is useful. 4. The file "MsgListHint.html" is still empty. It only produces a text "MsgListHint txt here".
