Hi all,

Just a bit of feedback...Probably it's just me, but over the last 5 major
versions (or thereabouts) I haven't seen much significant change in TB. And
that is really fine with me, because the modest improvements that have been
made were (for me) quite necessary. And, no question about it, TB is still
my preferred email client. It just works, and I like that. But, sad to say,
the implementation of new "features" generally seems somewhat lackadaisical.

For example OAUTH was needed; and, yes, it does work. But with probably no
more than a single additional line of code I could have been spared several
days of hassle and hair-pulling. Was it not easy to set "@gmail.com" as a
default when only a username is given without the "@gmail.com"... something
that always worked quite well for regular authentication? Or if that was
not possible, could I not have received some warning that a username
without the "@" string is unacceptable?

As for this 10.x series, the only thing that jumps out at me is a new icon
that seems to have only been partially implemented. If there is going to be
a new icon for the TB exe, then should there not also be a new flapping-bat
icon when there is unread mail? And how difficult would that be to create?
Why do we still see the same old flapping bat against the former bright
yellow... the same old flapping bat from numerous, previous versions?
Frankly, I was good with the old TB icon. And, though I am not much
enamored with the TB10 icon, I could learn to like it if it did not grate
on my nerves seeing its form morph into the old bat.
