Your statement that you "don't want some *extra* security in e-mail client" suprise me. I want all the security / protection for my PC that I can get. Thats why I chose TB! I do not reply totally on my Antivirus program because there are a number of virus written daily of which may not be included in the AV program signature files when the bug comes to my system. I do not echange floppies with anyone, so any "bug" my system comes in contact with is 99 and 99% through Internet access that chiefly being email. KV> There are so many features in TB! AND distraction I do not need when trying to work. :) As far the features of TB I think they are very customizable and you could infact turn many of them off if you wanted to do so. For example: I dont believe that you are required to use SMIME, or PGP, or the AV plugins. In fact you dont have to use macros, or templates or any of the other TB features. You could delete all the templates or blank them out. Unselect any options, in the preferences and so forth. You could get very bare bones if you wished. IMHO, I believe the majority of people who leave the main stream mail clients do so because they want all these functions which help you filter sort and file large amounts of email. AND because they care about security. If you do business on your computer, you cannot afford to take unneccesary risks, for entertainment purposes.
