Yes, plus to add features that are missing, like access to external editors, pre-inbox filtering, pre-outbox filtering, macros that pass strings to and receive them from externals, etc. > For whatever reason, it seems that with every new TB! beta build, > there are significant changes made, that IMO, would be best moved to > the 2.0 project. Who cares whether the next release is called 1.63 or 2.0? If 1.62r were full of errors, then getting a 1.63 out fairly quickly WOULD be very important. However, 1.62r is quite stable. > In other words: Release a stable, bug-free (as much as possible), > 1.63, and put every new feature in the 2.0 project. Having a few more betas is likely when new features are being added. That's what happens in the beta process. Perhaps these should be called alphas until a release candidate is ready. Then new features would be frozen out and bug fixes only would be addressed - unless a fairly simple new feature can be squeezed in :-) > Of course, I certainly feel that I've gotten my money's worth out of > my 1.x registration, but come on guys/gals . . finish up 1.x and > move on. :) Well I haven't gotten MY money's worth, I purchased it less than a month ago. I'd be happy to continue beta testing for another year or so :-) -- Best regards, Bill "Nothing happens in contradiction to nature; only in contradiction to what we know of it."
