I agree strongly with this! A slightly faster wasy to do this is create the new IMAP folder then go back to your other account, select all the messages in the folder and then do a "Copy To" (Ctrl-C) command and select the IMAP folder. Works well, but it can take a while for the messages to be uploaded to the server. My message base is 160mb.
