-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Given the huge amount of feedback to the change in version number that there has been here over the last couple of days I'm both surprised and dismayed at the lack of any sort of official comment from RitLabs. The occasional snipe at a user's comments by Maxim doesn't really count I'm afraid.
Surely there can be no justification for this high-handed mistreatment of those who have, lets face it, done no small amount of work to see a working and worthwhile release of at least v2.13! To make promises over and over again about what we're going to get for our money whilst at the same time just cherry picking at the bugs that need fixing shows a degree of contempt for its users that I think RitLabs cannot afford to show if they wish to maintain the good-will, help and support of the many people who actively contribute to this list. In a world of software giants who can afford to please who they choose we have probably all come to expect this kind of treatment from organisations for whom the loss of goodwill from a few hundred people means little or nothing, but if those who really feel as strongly about this treatment by RitLabs as has been suggested here actually do walk then The Powers That Be at RitLabs have done themselves a great deal of harm. For what it's worth, I will not be upgrading unless there is a *major* concession to those who have spend so much time and effort working on the beta program. - -- :Stuart_Hemming: Using The Bat! v2.13 "Lucky" Beta/7 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 1 Aided by BayesIt! 0.5.11 PGP Key available from ldap://keyserver.pgp.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGP SDK 3.0 Comment: "Key available from ldap://keyserver.pgp.com" iQA/AwUBQTSHKtttnLhkydF1EQIJhACdGjOzE4MEhWpVSrNoQDdShDRjzG0Anj6g 7iBnB5loGsm3wVydkJMkrK/I =PeMa -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 3.00 Beta/1 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
