Hello all, I'll try to be as brief as possible by skipping some details and/or minor steps.
I must start by saying that until yesterday (Friday) I had never before "played" with Common filters. Last night (a few hours ago) I upgraded to v3.0.2.5 and the first time I launched it I noticed that most messages received in this account, the one I basically use for mailing lists, had not been sorted to their respective folders and were all still in Inbox. What?!?! I went directly to Sorting Office and I found that some of my Incoming filters had been moved and/or replaced by other filters and sub-filters. A bit of a mess that I will more thoroughly analyse when I have more time because I have saved a copy of the SRB file. Instead of trying to correct the mess, I got the corresponding ACCOUNT.SRB file from yesterdays backup (which, BTW, had been working just fine all along Friday with v3.0.2.4) and replaced the "corrupt" one. I start TB again and go directly to Sorting Office and found that Incoming filters for this account (and only this one) were again corrupt. Although I didn't do an exhaustive comparison, the corruption seemed quite similar to the previous one. Again, I exit TB, replace ACCOUNT.SRB with the good one and start TB for a 3rd time and again a corruption. Then I remembered about the Common filters I was testing yesterday (see my <mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>) and took a look at them. Although they all were "Not active" they were still shared with _this_ account and only this one. The end of the story is, for the moment, that since I completely deleted the Common Incoming filters I have had no further corruption in account filters. I know it sounds strange and I have no idea or understand how can Common filters "corrupt" account filters as they are kept in separate SRB files, but what is true (seems to be true) is that only the account that was shared by Common filters was the one corrupted and that I have not observed any further corruption since deleting the Common filters. I'll do more testing and try to reproduce the anomaly if I have time during the weekend. -- Best regards, Miguel A.
