I'm a tad upset with them too.  I've used (and registered) TB! since
Version 1 and the IMAP support is still far behind what Thunderbird's
(or God forbid, Outlook Express's) is.  That's why I'm currently using
Thunderbird, that and a few GnuPG quirks.
