It's a real pain isn't it. If you have an earlier message with the same
subjet then the message is threaded to that earlier message whereas, as
you say, reverting to 3.0.2.10 gets the threading back to normal.

I hoped that unticking "Options/Preferences/Messages/Oldest message
begins a threa" would help but it doesn't make a jot of difference. In
fact I'd like to know exactly what that function does actually do!
