Indeed. Very odd that. It's not what showed when I copied it, but it
certainly pasted back in that state.

Done, done and done. Several times over.

I shan't do that for now, because I've found out that what's causing
it are the 2 catchall filters, which shouldn't really be executed, but
are.

These 2 filters are within a final "news lists" group (for opt-in news
lists rather than discussion lists) that start with an "Address book
does not contain sender" tree-root filter.

Yes, I know they are now inactive. That's deliberate. Once I
deactivate these filters, the ones that were playing up before then
work.

With spam trap enabled:

What it is really about is that the "Lists" filter had become a
"continue processing" filter, which it should not have been!

I have now re-enabled the spam trap filters and turned off "continue
processing" on the "Lists" filter. I really didn't turn that on. It
became turned on when I made the change I spoke of at the start of
this (kidnapped) thread. I will let you know if that *doesn't* fix the
problem.
