Would it be too difficult to implement a 'Draft' folder? Outbox and
Draft could work this way:

Outbox:
  - Messages go though it when clicking Send if Delivery type =
  Immediate.
  - Holds messages if Delivery type = Deferred or if 'Put in Outbox' is
  selected in editor.
  - Does not allow Copy or Move to it.
  - Messages in Outbox can be opened and edited.

Draft:
  - Messages are held here when 'Save as draft' is selected from editor.
  - Messages in Draft can be opened and edited (only difference with any
  other folder).
  - Messages in Draft CANNOT be sent directly, they have to be opened in
  editor and then sent.
  - Messages can be copied and moved to Draft

Just a thought :)
