For the same reasons Mozilla developers dropped support for 9x systems in Firefox 3.0 too. As an ex-developer I know that handling _all_ Windows systems is hard and time consuming. I wish RitLabs developers spent that time on more important issues. In my opinion it is the right time to move on. I checked stats on couple of my websites and Win9x platforms uses about 0.32-0.75% of the traffic only. I guess this number is even lower in rich developed countries. Also, Win9x users could still download and use older "frozen" version of The Bat and Voyager that works with their system. This way they will have a stimulus to upgrade. You can't have one computer for 10 year without loosing something, you know :) -- Best regards, Vilius ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 3.86.11 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
