I am asking as I lost all the music sounds (not the beeps etc.) on my system. I attributed that to a Microsoft update, probably installed to keep me safe from bad words :D I go into device manager (or audio) and find I have no devices installed and also the dreaded exclamation point next to "Microsoft Kernel Wave Audio Mixer" There are a couple of known issues that cause this but have yet to find the appropriate fix on my system Are you having the same issue? If so why do you think it is the beta version of the bat? (Also, top posting will bring down the wrath of the moderators - you might want to put your postings at the bottom lest the hounds of hell be unleashed upon you :D ) -- Rick The Bat Version 3.99.21 (BETA) on Windows XP, Service Pack 2 ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 3.99.21 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
