That's not guaranteed, no matter how good the programmer is. While the
OS nowadays is stable, and usually won't come crashing down, nothing
guarantees you that some program won't inject a DLL that'll make your
program crash (I've seen that several times - user installs some
enhancement program, and next thing you know, previously rock-solid
programs are crashing left and right).
