When I enable smtp protocol logging, my log shows that TB doesn't send
an empty EHLO, nor does my mail server think it's empty (I checked the
server log too)
So  either  you've  got  some  proxy  server  (mail scanner/ firewall)
interfering ort you've got something misconfigured.
