First of all, thanks for trouble shooting effort on tboot issue and providing patch to fix it. It really surprising me that read/write to the undefined tpm1.2 register address(0x1b) will cause hardware freezing. Do you know the TPM model used in the systems? But anyway, your patch looks clean to me, we will try to apply it after more tests.
