Subject: [Potential Spoof] [tboot-devel] txt_shutdown on APs

It looks like txt_shutdown expects to only be invoked on the BSP, and tries to
perform a halt if it finds itself executing on the AP. This assumption is not
valid for a Linux kernel panic since the kernel will not try to switch to
running on the BSP. Tboot and Linux don’t appear to do any actual register or
memory scrubbing, so it seems like there shouldn’t be an issue with adding an
option to reboot the system in such a situation. Can someone confirm if this
reasoning makes sense? If so, I can cook up a patch that adds an option to
reboot on panic.

Thanks,
Sahil
