If you have two PCs, how do you share the mail store? Only one copy of folders on one PC. Point second PC through LAN to that first mail store. A problem occurs. You find that just setting the mail store location had copied all those folders. So one store is placed on top of the other.
Trying to delete all the folders from one copy before trying this seemed the only possibility. However, things were still not working, and folders were not quite appearing. Though I could see a few messages.
