I have had a problem since I upgraded from TB 2.11 to TB 5.0 with the layout of the Column Settings for each folder (Message List).
Years ago, with TB 2.11, I started out by choosing the "Use Folder Specific Settings" option for all folders even though I pretty much wanted to have the same settings for most of the folders. When I transitioned to TB 5.0 (and a new wide-screen PC) I wanted to realign the columns in all the folders. I adjusted them in one folder and then used the "Copy Column Settings to..." action on that folder to ALL of the other folders. I found that it copied the settings to *some* of the other folders, but stopped copying after about 10 or 15 folders (I don't exactly remember and I've messed around with them since so I can't figure it out.) After some thought I decided that I should have used the "Use Account Default Column Settings" option but I can't seem to get that to work. Possibly I am not actually setting the "Account Default Settings" correctly. I looked through the Account Properties dialog and could not find anything to do with the Column Settings then I selected the folder with the name of the account and used the View / Message List Columns selection to set the columns. I then set one of my folders to "Use Account Default Column Settings" but it had no effect. I CAN manually set the columns for a particular folder by right clicking on the column header and choosing "Message List Columns" from the context menu, but I CAN NOT copy any column settings, even from one folder to one other at all. I suspect that I have somehow corrupted a configuration file that maintains this info and I am considering resetting and starting over. Can any one tell me where this configuration is maintained? And can I just delete such a file to clear the problem? -- Bill McQuillan <bill.mcquil...@pobox.com> Using The Bat! 5.0.20.1 on Windows 7 6.1 build 7601-Service Pack 1 ________________________________________________ Current version is 4.2.42 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
