Hello.

Does anyone know how to make messages sent to the Junk Mail folder by
anti-spam filtering appear with bold text in the messages list (and, thus,
make the Junk Mail folder appear with bold text in the folder list)?

I have a couple of filters that send mail to the Junk Mail folder, and I do
have the settings for those filter rules leave the messages marked as
"new", so that I am alerted of such messages sent to the Junk Mail folder.

However, messages sent to the Junk Mail folder by my anti-spam agent (I am
using AntispamSniper) are not marked as unread, and, therefore, can sit
there sometimes for days until I manually check the Junk Mail messages to
(usually) delete each of them.

Of course, "in a perfect world", the Junk Mail folder would contain ~only~
junk mail, but filtering is not 100% accurate, and occasionally I might
have one or two non-junk messages sit there for two or three days before I
happen to check the Junk Mail folder and find them.

(Having to apologize for not replying quickly because the original email
message ended up in the Junk Mail folder is not a favorable situation.)

Ideally, it might seem as if one could simply empty the Junk Mail folder
without checking any of the messages, but, since filtering is not 100%
accurate, I prefer to at least look at the subject lines and/or sender
addresses before deleting 'em. (The good news is that at least I don't have
to read each of them to decide if it deserved deletion.)

So, how do I make the messages in the Junk Mail folder filtered out by
AntispamSniper be marked as unread so as to have bold text in the message
list (so the Junk Mail folder also would have bold text in the folder
list)? I don't see any setting that will do this...

Thanks for any help offered.

Fred
