You don't need wildcards (unless I'm mmissing a scenario) with the
single exception of one meaning "all messages". This would logically
be the blank scope, but it obviously doesn't work. OTOH, I don't have
a single message on my machine that does not contain the "@" character
somewhere. ;-)
