Hi Bats!, I often get Reading Confirmation Request on an email that TB! kindly puts in the Outbox - which I never send.
However, I have just sent myself an email with a reading request on it. I read it and immediately got a Read DSN report. The TB! Reading Confirmation receipt is still sitting in my Outbox. This is a major surprise for me as I thought I never sent Read Receipts. I am now presuming that the IMAP server does this itself and not the client as I previously thought. This is true for outlook.office365.com using IMAP but does not happen on my self-hosted Postfix/Courier setup.
