Don't know.

Just tried. I made a folder about 40 MB big, and TB didn't have
trouble handling it. I tried reading, deleting, compressing,
deleting again, compressing again, and the final size of the .TBB
came down to around 32 MB, still no problem. It slowed down a bit on
my aging 200 Mhz PC, but nothing went wrong.

I'm using a different version of TB on a different OS from yours,
though. Don't know if that matters.
