There's most likely an address mismatch in that the address defined the
To: field is not the same as that defined in the address book entry for
which you have created templates.

Yes it does. It will use address book entry specific templates in
preference to address book group based templates. Address book templates
are always used in preference to folder templates. If there's still no
match, then the default template is used.
