I changed option from Show automatically to show always
(which I really *don't* want) & ticker appeared. Some of
my folders are checked to show me new msgs, others are
not. Could this have something to do with the problem
even though I've had msgs come in & be filter to folders
where the option is to show new msgs on ticker. Hmmmm.
