Hi Brian,
On 22 November 2000 at 19:14:44 -0500 (which was 00:14 where I
live) Brian Clark wrote and made these points:

The beta is open to us all. Announcements and discussions of betas
appear on the TBBETA list. <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
The latest beta can be got at through:
http://www.ritlabs.com/the_bat/beta.html or downloaded from the
RITLabs FTP site ftp://ftp.ritlabs.com/pub/the_bat/beta
BC> Has anyone seen any adverse effects during their TB! Beta use?
The only time that there have been problems of any major proportions
was during the 1.42 beta cycle when RITlabs made a change to the
mailbase format. There have also been problems backing out of beta's
without reverting to data backups.
Other than that they are pretty much trouble free and offer the
opportunity to preview new features and help in forming them in some
instances.
