Hello Dierk & others on TBUDL following this thread,

I must now reverse directions. An unexplainable phenomena has
presented itself.

Tuesday, January 02, 2001, you stated regarding Close/open all
threads using "Ctrl + * (numerical pad)":

DH> Why don't you use "Ctrl + * (numerical pad)"

I tried it immediately upon reading your earlier post and it didn't
work. Until now.

DH> Works for me

Now it does for me too. But so does ctrl + shft & + (the same key as
the * - which is the same thing).

DH> and since all keyboards regardless of layout - even
DH> the small iMac board - use the same configuration for the
DH> numerical pad,

I will not attempt to explain what happened before.

DH> I think, it has to work.

Well now it did.

However, I don't use threading much (I do click on the subject
column on occasion). Maybe I'll use it more now.

It's good you raised the issue again. crtl+shft+- works also. How
about that.

(a fellow) DH
