collective wisdom:

Ah, I see. I think that this window is peculiar to TB!. Anyone else
have a take on this?

BTW John, would you kindly keep the amount of quoting you do to a
minimum. It saves on list bandwidth and makes for easier reading by
the membership.

May I suggest, you replace the %quotes macro in your reply template
for this list to the following which should be in one long line in
your template:

%Quotes="%SETPATTREGEXP=""(?is)\n*(^-----BEGIN PGP
SIGNED.*?\n(Hash:.*?\n)?\s*)?(.*?)(^(-*?\s*?--\s*\n|_{40,}\s*\n|-----BEGIN\sPGP\sSIGNATURE)|\z)""%REGEXPBLINDMATCH=""%text""%SUBPATT=""3"""

It will strip out the PGP stuff and signatures from your replies. It
therefore takes away a lot of the work of trimming your messages.
