Others have answered this question but I wanted to make the following
comment on this subject:
I, too, have filtered my own msgs, but instead of deleting them, I
automatically mark them with a special color group so I can find them
easily. That way if I post a msg, like for instance, a question to
this list, I can easily find it & see all the responses beneath it.
Also this provides me a record (for however long I want) of my
comments.
Just another option to consider.
