Hi Jan,
On 31 January 2001 at 20:50:07 -0500 (which was 01:50 where I live)
Jan Rifkinson wrote and made these points:
JR> Sorry, I'm feeling very thick tonight. I think I followed your
JR> instructions:
JR> created a new filter
Yes.
JR> created a new rule
You mean you filled in one rule on the actual "Rule" tab, yes?
JR> Added one Alternative
You mean you:
1) selected the "Alternatives" tab
2) pressed the "Add set" button
3) filled in the first line of the first additional filter string
Yes?
(look under the "Add set" button. It says "Use Alt+Ins/Alt+Del to
add/delete filtering strings" - that's what we're talking about here).
JR> Used ALT-ins Key (nothing happened)
If you didn't do as I have explained above then it may not have
worked.
JR> If it's really something simple I'm going to flog myself.
No - please don't. I'm not up to the guilt feelings of being
responsible for that amount of pain.
