.eml are e-mail files, used to store messages in files, for
         ^ ^  ^
example, if you need to re-direct a message with all the headers
exactly as you received it, you could export this message to a
file and send it as an attachment. BTW, IIRC OE used these .eml
files as well.
I answered yes to that message and it didn't do any harm.
