Ok let's say that i set-up a [EMAIL PROTECTED] account to get
access to the smtp server. Can I then use that SMTP server to send
mail from domains which I already have accounts for (ie.
mydomain.co.uk as seperate account)? In this way the pop3 address I
already have for each account but with this smtp from myrealbox I can
send the mails from these accounts?

I could further perfrom smtp auth, which would prob ask for my
myrealbox username and password. But once that's been given I should
be able to pass through mails from the other domains.

Is the above relaying? You're saying this is how you stopped people
doing it. I can see how this could be abused by spammers.

I'm only in this position because my host company only gives me pop3,
supposedly I can use smtp from other providers (which I can from one
other account I have but it's not very reliable) hence why I'm looking
for better smtp.

Anyway thanks for your thoughts.

Andrew
