Odd, I checked my Sent folder, and the messages I sent out contain the
charset=us-ascii part, but when they are received, they are missing.

So, why did one of Peter's list messages come through with it intact,
and two, is the munging of that line what's causing the bad sig...?
It's not my SMTP or POP3 servers, because I can send myself off-list
messages and it retains the charset=us-ascii.
