Hi Dierk,

On 20 September 2001 at 09:46:44 +0200 (which was 08:46 where I live)
Dierk Haasis wrote to Charlie (ceejay) and made these points:

DH> Sadly enough I did forget the actual procedure.

DH> Does anybody remember it?

Yes, but it relies on a window having a "System menu" (the one on the
icon on the top left corner of the window caption). The ticker doesn't
have one, so it doesn't apply.

Focus the window. Click Alt then Ctrl-Space. Type 'M' then use the
arrow keys to move the window.

In case Charlie gets a fit of boldness, it's not that dangerous to
tweak the registry when you know where you're going. The registry keys
which control the ticker position are:

HKCU/Software/RIT/The Bat/Ticker .. Top
HKCU/Software/RIT/The Bat/Ticker .. Left
HKCU/Software/RIT/The Bat/Ticker .. Width

(HKCU means HKEY_CURRENT_USER).

You can simply delete these sub-keys and TB will default the ticker
position and width, after which you should be able to see it again.
