Tom, thank you for extending Zoot's incredible capabilities to The Bat! I have a question, for anyone, about how best to use this enhancement.
Zoot now can take TB!'s .TBB files. Those are mailbox files, which contain all the raw messages in a given folder. (There is a separate index file.) If I have a message come in that winds up in my inbox, it will be among several other messages there. If it gets filtered, it might be alone or it might be among several other messages in the destination folder. Either way, a single message cannot be exported as a .TBB file, nor can it be lifted from TB!'s user interface onto the Zooter. If I transfer the entire .TBB file, it might contain other messages, some which perhaps have already been Zooted, some not. There seem to me to be two solutions to the problem, only one of which is practical. I'm wondering if anyone has another idea. The impractical solution is to keep one's email folders totally cleaned out all the time. I cannot do that, partly because I use them for filing and reference (which, I know, I could do in Zoot if I used Outlook, but TB! is a better mail client and Lotus Organizer is a better PIM than Outlook). The other solution is to filter or move the email I want to Zoot into a separate email folder for Zooting. Then I can Zoot it to my heart's content, and delete the contents from TB! Am I overlooking a better alternative? (Other than throwing in the towel and going to MS Office?) -- ________________________________________________________ Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Latest Vers: 1.53d FAQ : http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com
