On a German keyboard those don't do anything. Only <AltGr>+

            <2>      ²
            <3>      ³
            <7>      {
            <8>      [
            <9>      ]
            <0>      }
            <ß>*     \
            <m>      µ

have an effect. Note that you can also use <Ctrl>+<Alt> instead of
<AltGr>.


*This one is tricky on any non-German keyboard, it's the key next to
<0> on the alpha-numerical "pad"; as are all keys mentioned.
