Hello again,

At least I found out that TB is not directly responsible for copying
the attachments. They are copied to my Desktop every time I start
Maximizer, a contact manager I use since years ago which is supposed
to be MAPI compliant. Just a couple of days ago I "installed TB as the
simple MAPI request handler" from the Options/Preferences/Application
tab, and this seems to be what started this problem. I'll keep
looking.

BTW, is there any way to un-install TB as the MAPI request handler?

Thanks,

Miguel
