Hello fellow Bat! fans.
I run Bat! on my laptop which I take on the road.
At work we run an NT4.0 LAN with M$ Post office (not Exchange).
On my Outlook (yuk) at work, I have a filter set up that sends me a copy, as an
attachment, of all internal office mail, to my address below.
The message arrives as a "message.msg" attachment, which I double click in Bat!
to open.
If a message is from, say Kitty, (M$ Postoffice address kitty), the message is
from "kitty" (note the ").
When I reply, "kitty" (with ") is put in the "To:" field, but the address,
(which also is in Bat! address book), does not auto complete, and the mail will
not be sent. (actually bounces).
I have tried setting up the handle for this person (and others) firstly with the
M$ Postoffice name, secondly with the M$ Postoffice name surrounded by ".
Nothing seems to work to enable the reply to be addressed correctly.
Maybe a macro could handle this? Any tips at all?
TIA
