I received a note today with a request for reading confirmation. I have kept that note in my inbox as a reminder of some action that I have to take. Now every new note into my inbox causes the attempted send of a reading confirmation of that first note. I have sent one just to see if it would stop this but it made no difference. It also doesn't matter if the new note has been filtered to a different folder or not, any attempt to read it will result in the prompt for confirmation on the first note above.
