This issue is one of the main reasons why I prefer TB! over say, Becky. The way I work around this need is to open multiple messages simultaneously. While I'm using the ticker virtual folder to peruse unread messages, I may wish to look for another message or revise another message without losing where I had reached in the current message. I just open the other message/s or folder in another window.
