As a new comer to Bat, I am making very little progress in configuring it to filter my email. Ideally, I would like to configure it to download only the headers of email on my dial-up ISP's server, then to check the downloaded headers against originators in my address book and finally, to download the full text of those emails that that match and place them in a separate folder before notifying me to log off. The headers that are left will be 99% spam and after a quick glance through to check for legitimate mail, can be dealt with manually.
