Darn. The flaw in the ointment. Then it's only the recursive wrap
macro that will actually help here.

We're talking about quoting, aren't we? What the heck is someone doing
quoting *50* paragraphs? That's overquoting in the extreme! These
should all be trimmed for context and only the paragraphs being
commented on should be included as quotes. Since every quoted
paragraph in a reply should be examined for relevance and included or
excluded on that basis, the simple press of Alt-L for every quoted
para is not a huge overhead on that basis. I do it often.
