Yes.  It's precisely the kind of issue that will lead to scores of
"lost mail" reports, which is not what the program's reputation needs
if it's going to go after a wider audience.

In another post, you mentioned that, when the interruption has
occurred in the course of moving a folder, you can create a new folder
in the new place and all is fixed.  How does the newly created folder
'capture' the moved message base, though?
