Especially after Win2k, it handles dual-boot system pretty well. This is good if you don't really need to go back and forth between two systems during the transition. You see, leaving Win98 as it is may be more than just keeping a safe backup plan (in case WinXP fails). The transition could take weeks, or even months, that keeping the old system as it is provides many advantages. Of course, it all depends on how you like to proceed with the upgrade. There's no one-size-fits-all answer for this, IMHO. Are you on TBOT?
