Depends how many OS dependent resources they used... But usually the
change isn't too bad. I've managed to convert a few of the
applications I write into Linux for testing purposes.

I tried wine... took a bit of working... slightly glitchy in places,
but I didn't expect it to be perfect. Version 2 is rumored to be
written in C/C++ so may have a better chance of running, and/or being
converted for Linux.
