I've  been  using  GnuPG  and GPGShell with no problems whatsoever. I'm also
using  a  program called GPGrelay (http://sites.inka.de/tesla/gpgrelay.html)
that  you  may  also  be  interested  in.  It automates the whole process of
encrytion/decryption etc and also adds PGP/MIME which The Bat sadly lacks. I
have  had no problems with this program either. But it is not recommended if
many  people  have  access  privileges  to  your  computer - see website for
details.
